The Guest Wireless Network is one of several means by which guests may access the campus network. It is the only one which can be sponsored directly by faculty and full-time staff. However, it does not offer access to campus resources. If a guest should be granted appropriate access to authorized campus systems, they will need alternatives that a department trusted agent must provide. See the article Trusted Agent (TAG) Program Procedures for more details.

In general, any device that natively supports wireless networking will work with the Wireless Guest Network. That includes laptop computers, smartphones (iOS, Android, or Windows), and wireless tablets such as the iPad. However, IT Services does not officially support the Wireless Guest Network for use with versions of Apple OS X older than 10.9 and versions of Windows older than Windows 7, although the network may still work with those operating systems.
